Bow

How the climate breakdown can be filmed? Can it be captured in a way that forces us to see another reality? Another world underneath it? Rather than keeping the footage straight forward - I look for liquid and currents in the digital textures that becoming those alternate worlds. As dissolves take you from a blue radar to a blue rain coat on the ground, the sound becomes purely electric and the images become something unrecognizable like the future we don’t want to fathom.

BOW is a collection of footage of storms I’ve personally been in, and some coverage from THE WEATHER CHANNEL. I find Jim Cantore, who covers major storms, to be the most dramatic, and dangerously placed, of all meteorologist in the US. He’s somewhat of a star in this series.
